Nap Time
Nap bags will be sent home on Wednesday, March 4th.
During the 4th quarter, we will still have some downtime in the afternoon. During our downtime, I will read chapter books to the class, with the lights down low, while we all gather together on the carpet. The first book on the list... The Boxcar Children.
After our chapter book time, students will find a spot in the classroom to read books they have picked from our classroom library. They may sit on a cot if they would like, but it will be at their request instead of required.

The Season of Lent is upon us!  Our focus throughout the next 6 weeks will be on Jesus and His saving work for us on the cross! We tell His Story every year to bring glory and praise to our God, and to strengthen our faith in Christ! We hope that you find small ways to keep the family focus on Jesus throughout the Lenten season. A Lenten focus for your family might include acts of forgiveness, special prayers, service to others, or to begin a new family ritual. You will find a couple of links below that might help you get the conversation started in the home.  Please join us for Lenten worship if you don't have a church home. Services are at 3:30 and 7:00pm with a Lenten dinner served between services in the fellowship hall.

Zion Bobcats, You have put our school theme” Called to Care” into action!  Your enthusiasm and sportsmanship was fantastic during our Kids Heart Challenge events and as a school we have reached our goal of collecting over  $20,000.00 for the American Heart Association.  In fact, we raised just over $21,000.00. Incredible! God has truly blessed us to be a blessing to others!

Please remember that you will have to be very patient as we await the arrival of the larger “Thank you gifts”. They should be here by the end of March.

Thank you Bobcat Nation!
