A calendar reminder that we will have a half-day on Wednesday, November 27th and no school on the 28th and 29th for Thanksgiving break. There will not be aftercare on Wednesday, November 27th.
Zion Church and School have partnered with Bethlehem Lutheran Church to help them in their inner-city ministry. Bethlehem has an urgent need for about 150 children and teen size winter coats.
We will be collecting gently used or new winter coats, hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves.
Please bring your items to the school office by next Tuesday, November 26.

We will go to Breeze Park on Tuesday, November 26th. Our drivers will be Mrs. Inchiostro, Mrs. Ingles, Mr. Maier, Mrs. Rader, Mrs. Schneider, Mrs. Alkfouf, and Mr. Glosier. I am asking each child to donate a warm pair of socks.
On December 20th Kindergarten and Zion's 8th-grade classes will perform a Christmas Service at 8:20 in the morning. Please join us in the sanctuary!
It is VERY hard to pick parts and sadly everyone will probably not get exactly what they want. Our class will get 1 Mary, 1 soldier, 6 shepherds, 6 animals, and 8 angels. I will have the children pick names out of a bucket when we get back from Thanksgiving break.
Advent Family Fun Night
Join us for our third annual Advent Family Fun Night on Saturday, December 7 from 4:00-5:00 pm in the church lower level. There will be exciting crafts, activities, and games all centered around the nativity to kick off the season of Advent.
This is a free, open-house style event.
Come for a few minutes or the whole hour of fun.
