New Member Class
If Lutheran teachings are new to you, we’d like to take some time to tell you about our faith. Our 101: Adult Information Class is for anyone who is interested in understanding the Christian faith as the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod teaches it, and for those who wish to join Zion’s congregation. Taught by the pastors, these sessions cover the basic teachings of the Christian faith, allowing the individuals to compare with his or her own church background. At the end of the class, you will be invited to be confirmed (and baptized if applicable) and join Zion’s congregation.
The next new member class begins January 26, 2020 in the chapel/church library from 9:30-10:15 am. The class will meet each Sunday until confirmation on Sunday, March 15. Please contact Vickie Adams in the church office with questions and/or to RSVP.
