Dad's Day was a great way to end the week, but check out all the other fun things we did this week! A special thanks to our grandparents who came out to share in our afternoon!

A note from the office:

We will be blocking off the first four parking spaces in the Sonshine Lot, closest to the ECE Wing Doors/Stairs to ensure safe, orderly arrivals and dismissals to our ELP, Preschool & Kindergarten rooms. Remember to slow down in the lot, checking all directions, when parking and backing out. We greet and dismiss as many as 177 children from the Sonshine parking lot every day. Children will be dismissed by their teacher by name before they greet their driver.
Don't forget to return permission slips to Eagle Fork Pumpkin Farm. I am still missing a few permission slips. Our class will be going on October 17th.
Zion Parents: Tuesday, September 25th (6pm - 8:30pm) join us for Parent Technology Night in the church basement. Tina Meier, Founder and Executive Director of the Megan Meier Foundation, shares her daughter’s story and shows first-hand the devastating effects of bullying, cyberbullying and suicide. This is a school-wide event. Please feel free to come even though your child is only in kindergarten. The information is good to tuck away for the future.

Looking ahead to next week:

We will be celebrating Johnny Appleseed's birthday on Wednesday, September 26th. If you would like to send in an apple with your child on Wednesday that would be great! If not I will have some extras. We will do some graphing, stamping, tasting and investigations.
