Grandparents day pillowcases
Thank you for returning the Grandparents' Address Form that came home last week. I will put the invitations in the mail this weekend. As we prepare for the big day, I am gathering information about dismissal plans. Dismissal forms are coming home on 2/7/20. As you begin to make plans for March 5th please let me know about your dismissal plans by returning the dismissal form. Half-day students are invited to stay all day on 3/5/20 because Grandparents/Special Friends Day starts at 1:15.
*Please note that preschool will host their special friends in the morning on the 5th and 1st-8th grade will host their special friends on Friday, March 6th. Kindergarten, Preschool, and ELP will not have school on 3/6/20 due to the campus needs for 1st-8th grade Grandparents/Special Friends Day.
Each student will need 1 pillowcase for something they will make on Grandparents/Special Friends Day. You may send it in at any time and we will keep them in our cubbies until they are needed.
Yearbook order forms are in your child's red folder.
Near the end of the 4th quarter, kindergarten students should know their address. I am sending home an address information sheet to be filled out with your child. Please send this form back to school by Wednesday, Feb. 12th. Students will refer back to it throughout the next several weeks. A few of them just might remember the information simply by filling out the form with you! We will be doing a few activities over the next few weeks that will help reinforce the information at school, but the majority of this individualized memorization will need to be done at home.
Kids Heart Challenge (Jump Rope For Heart) 2020 is coming up on Wednesday, February 19, 2020!
We have already started practicing! Our class will participate in the challenge on 2/19/20 from 8:40-9:10. Donation forms and information are coming home in red folders on Friday (2/7/20) or you can also click on the quick link for donations
Valentine's Day is next Friday! I am sending home a class list in case your child wants to address their Valentines' to specific students; otherwise, they can just fill in their name.
Our Party will start in the afternoon on February 14th. Half-day friends are invited to stay for the party. I will provide bags for students to decorate at school to collect their valentines.
