Important Points of Interest:
- Wednesday is a half day. We will dismiss at noon.
- This week we will be reading/focusing on Folktales. Tuesday we will focus on versions of the Gingerbread Man and Friday we will end the week with Stone Soup. We will make soup in our classroom crockpot to eat during afternoon snack time. Please sign up on the google doc linked below if you can help provide any of the needed items.
- Box Top classroom contest is underway! Zion is having it's annual February Box Top contest among classrooms. The contest goes until Feb. 22nd. Send in your box tops in a baggie and I will add them to our class collection.
- On Friday, February 8th the students will get information about Jump Rope For Heart which will take place on Wednesday, February 20th.
Looking ahead:
- No School on Monday, February 18th
- Valentine's Day is just around the corner! A class list went home last week. Your child can address their valentines to their classmates or just put their name on their cards (so their classmates will know who gave them which Valentine). Please send in 1 milk jug for your child's valentine box. Half day students are invited to stay all day to share in our afternoon party.
- Our Valentine's Day party will be on Thursday, February 14th in the afternoon.
