Today is the last day of the first quarter! We do not have a memory verse due next week, but I will be putting the second quarter list in the back of red folders on Monday. Be sure to note the calendar time change for our singing time. We will be singing on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 10:30 instead of at the Saturday service. A reminder that Muffins for Moms will be held in the church basement on Wednesday, Nov. 6th from 7:00-7:45. If you are unable to attend, no worries, I will meet your child in the classroom as usual.

Thank you so much for donating 337 toys to the Superhero Smash celebrating the life of Drew Albritton!

The toys will be donated to Friends of Kids with Cancer who will take them to the area hospitals to give to kids and their siblings who are fighting cancer.

What a great outpouring of Jesus love from the Zion Family!

Orders are due Oct. 30th! You can pick up your pizzas in the Commons on Nov. 20th from 2:00-5:00. The money raised will go to PTL.

If you have not signed up for a conference time please do so as soon as possible, or let me know if you will not be able to attend. I look forward to meeting with everyone to talk about my first 9 weeks with your child. Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held after school on Oct. 30 and the morning of Oct. 31. No School Thursday and Friday.

Spread the word... Open House will now be held in the fall! Zion Lutheran School will host our Open House on November 10th from 3-5 p.m. This is a time for families to check out all of the great things Zion has to offer and to take a peek at future grade levels. Open House is designed to help families with decisions about enrollment for the upcoming school year. This is earlier than in the past. Zion usually hosts Open House in January; however, our spots have been filling up earlier, so our administration has decided to move Open House to the fall. Enrollment opens January 26th for the 2020-2021 school year!
